The site

The site is a family owned and run site, so still maintains a cosy friendly atmosphere.

If you don't feel like going far or it's not a day to sun-bathe, take advantage of the swimming pool on site. While the children are happily swimming, Mum & Dad can take advantage of the spa-bath and sauna.

There is also a games room on site with a pool table for those "I'm bored" moment we all get with our children.

If the children are needing to burn off some of that enery, they can walk to the onsite, enclosed playground.

A family run chip shop has opened just by the entrance to the site - brilliant for those lazy days.

The Countryman pub within walking distance of the cottage has been refurbished and now has a new menu. The staff are still just as friendly and you can take your dog in too if you wish.

And if you have forgotten those all important essentials, or would just like a freshly baked loaf, the shop is just by the entrance to the site.

When you arrive at the cottage you will find a binder and box file full of places to visit and things to do.

The Gower Peninsula

The Gower Peninsula was the first place in Britain to be designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Gower Coast has much to offer including rugged surf-lashed coasts, castles, beautiful beaches, medieval churches and caves.

With some of the most consistently good surf in Britain, the Gower Coast is a mecca for surfers.

With its rugged coastline, there are no less than twenty one bays and sheltered coves.

Rhossili is the ideal location from which to walk along the south Gower Coast and discover its rare wildlife, unspoilt cliffs or just spend the day on the picturesque 5 miles of beach!

No 38 the Gower is very conveniently situated for dozens of Gower Walks and the beaches of Rhossili, Horton and Port Eynon are are less than 10 minutes drive from the Cottage.
